A soul singer and an Abstract Artist with influences from artists such as: Jill Scott, Lizz Wright, Asa, India Arie, Matias Damasio, Sara Tavares and Aretha Franklin to name a few. It is In the midst of such influences that she has found her voice. A Husky tone and a steady tempo to her melody.
Her abstract work comes to life from her musical influences. Jazz, soul, blues and funk feeds her soul and inspires her heart.
She loves working with bright and bold colours infused with soft patterns to shape and bring character to her work.
Abstract art is an emancipation of her mind, it has no rules, no restriction, it's her perfect adventure, it’s the only way she connects with her inner, most deepest self and transcends it to her audience.
Art is her freedom of speech, it's her escape, and music is her release, together she aims to give you an escape from life's tribulations.
Yaneise Ramos was awarded by the APSC (African-Portuguese speaking Community) in 2019 as recognition of her ART and Musical performances in the UK.
